We believe that tests should be meaningful not only in score, but to teachers and students, that they should be manageable and easy to administer, and above all, that they should not be seen as a barrier or hurdle.

Case study: London College of Fashion
We developed the current testing provision for international students at London College of Fashion, a constituent college of University of the Arts London. The four skills tests are end of course language proficiency tests for pre-university students. We undertook a full analysis of course content studied and to be studied and collaborated with lecturers and course leaders to work towards test validity, reliability and practicality.
Target English have worked with us to produce a multi-functional test for international fashion students. Our working partnership is proving highly effective and I am confident our tests will be an asset and exciting addition to our unique programme.
